A woman has been arrested in Serres, Greece, for allegedly deceiving elderly individuals into handing over money by posing as a doctor. The woman and an accomplice tricked an elderly woman into giving €5,000 for a surgery that was never needed, and they previously scammed an elderly man for €3,500 using the same ruse. Authorities have confiscated €8,450 and a mobile phone from the suspect. The investigation is ongoing to identify other accomplices and their possible involvement in similar crimes.
