Authorities in Volos have arrested seven individuals for illegally tapping electricity and water services in a Roma settlement. The arrests included five men and one woman caught illegally supplying power and water to their homes without proper meters. Another woman was also apprehended for installing makeshift wiring to steal electricity. Additionally, charges have been filed against three other suspects who are still at large. Concurrently, a cleanup operation was launched in the area near the settlement, removing significant amounts of waste to ensure better hygiene and environment.
