Police Seize Over 500 Kilograms of Fireworks in Leeuwarden
In a recent operation in Leeuwarden, Dutch police confiscated more than 500 kilograms of fireworks stored in two garage boxes beneath an apartment building. Responding to an anonymous tip, authorities arrested two men aged 30 and 32. This discovery follows an earlier seizure of 250 kilograms of dangerous, illegal fireworks at a residential location, which led to the arrest of a 46-year-old suspect. The police have raised concerns about the dangers of storing large quantities of fireworks in residential areas.
