The Greek Ministry of Culture is undertaking restoration and enhancement projects for the Byzantine Tower P3, located at the archaeological site of Abdera in Xanthi. These efforts include structural repairs and the installation of active fire protection systems to safeguard the monument against fire risks. Minister Lina Mendoni emphasized the importance of preserving not only significant monuments but also smaller archaeological sites. The project aims to enhance visitor access and safety, integrating the tower with existing archaeological structures while addressing urgent structural issues.
