Following the visit of Thessaly Regional Governor Dimitris Kouretas to Palamas, Karditsa, progress on flood prevention works on the Farsalitis River is underway. Deputy Regional Governor Kostas Telios and other officials inspected riverbanks to assess the status of the cleaning and restoration project, essential for flood protection in the area. The project, signed by Kouretas and awarded recently, has a budget of €6 million and aims to reconstruct disturbed sections of the riverbanks after severe flooding events.
