The Qatari embassy in Syria will reopen on Tuesday, a week after the regime of President Bashar al-Assad was forced out following rapid advances by Islamist rebel groups. After 13 years of closure, Qatar announced the resumption of operations through a press release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
