Australian Federal Police made a record seizure of 2.3 tons of cocaine, valued at approximately €470 million, after a boat used by suspects capsized off the coast of Queensland. Thirteen individuals, including two minors, were arrested in connection with a large smuggling operation tied to the Comanchero motorcycle gang. The drugs were reportedly transported from an undisclosed South American country. Some suspects were apprehended at sea while others awaited the shipment on shore. They face serious charges that could lead to life imprisonment.
