Corfu’s cruise tourism experienced its best year ever in 2024, with an increase of 28% in passenger arrivals, totaling 815,000 visitors. This surpasses the previous record of 768,000 in 2019 and the 635,000 arrivals last year. Notably, cruise operations continued into January, with significant tourist arrivals during the Christmas season from countries like Italy, China, and Turkey. Improvements at the new port, including the relocation of ferries, are expected to enhance visitor experiences further.
