Repsol Sells 25% Stake in Renewable Unit for €905 Million

Repsol has finalized a deal to sell a 25% stake in its renewable subsidiary to a consortium led by Crédit Agricole Assurances and Swiss fund Energy Infrastructure Partners for €905 million. This transaction values the entire green business at €4.383 billion, marking a significant milestone in Repsol’s strategic plan for 2021-2025. The company aims for 6 GW of installed capacity by 2025 and is looking to expand into new markets and technologies. The sale, reflecting strong investor interest, is expected to close by year-end pending regulatory approvals.
