Research on Corinthian Gulf Pollution Completed

The environmental organization OZONE has completed a 650-kilometer study of pollution along the Corinthian coast. The initiative, named “Corinthian Gulf – Time for Action,” led by Executive Director Tasos Filipidis, uncovered significant pollution issues, including 15,000 photographs documenting litter and at least 100 illegal dumping sites. The research found that 30% of previously inaccessible beaches are in poor condition due to accumulated waste. The data will be shared with relevant authorities to address pollution sources, and awareness campaigns will be conducted in coastal communities.
