The Church of Saint Therapon in Mytilene, a landmark with a history spanning nearly 130 years, is undergoing significant restoration. Funded by the Greek Ministry of Culture, the project includes replacing the zinc roof with titanium-zinc panels and restoring stone facades made from a unique volcanic stone. Total costs exceed two million euros, with experts affirming that these efforts will ensure the monument’s preservation for future generations.
