Restoration of Flórina – Pisodérion Road Officially Completed
The Flórina – Pisodérion roadway, closed for a year due to a landslide, has officially reopened, announced by Christos Triantopoulos, Deputy Minister of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection. The restoration, costing 1.6 million euros, was funded entirely by the ministry. Meanwhile, Triantopoulos visited the village of Valtónera to address sustainability issues related to a surface fault, following recommendations from expert Efthymios Lekkas about restricting constructions nearby. Local officials have supported the residents’ requests for relocation due to safety concerns.
