In October 2024, the retail sector in Greece experienced a 7.9% increase in revenue, reaching €3.92 billion compared to €3.63 billion in October 2023. This rise also marks a 4.1% increase from September 2024. The growth is attributed to various sectors, notably a 34.3% surge in the sale of other motor vehicles. Notable regional performances included an 8.2% increase in Attica and a 7.7% rise in Central Macedonia, while Western Macedonia saw a decline of 5.9%. Overall, small and medium-sized enterprises reported a notable revenue increase as well.
