Reviving ‘Erofili’: A Timeless Greek Classic at Avlea Theater
The classic play ‘Erofili,’ written in 1600 by Cretan playwright Georgios Hortatsis, is being revived at the Avlea Theater under the direction of Barbaraki Doumanidou. This production, infused with rich language and historical resonance, emphasizes love as a counterforce against wealth and power. The show will run every Saturday at 7 PM and Sunday at 9 PM starting November 16, lasting 90 minutes. Tickets are priced at €15 for general admission and €13 for students and seniors.
