Reviving Traditions: The Celebration of Calikantzari and BasiloKouloura in Greece

In various regions of Greece, traditional customs are being revived. In Gorgogyri, Trikala, locals celebrated by showcasing calikantzari (mythical goblins), while in Faneromeni, the Karagounides Union prepared the BasiloKouloura with children singing Thessalian carols. According to Karagounides tradition, the preparation occurred on Christmas Eve, and various symbols were placed on the bread.
