Ridouan Taghi, the main suspect in the Marengo liquidation case, has appointed two new lawyers, Vito Shukrula and Carlo Crince le Roy, to represent him in his appeal at the Amsterdam court. This follows a period where Taghi was left without legal representation, leading to concerns from the court about his situation. Taghi was sentenced to life in prison for his role as the leader of a criminal organization, which included several murders linked to witness testimonies. The appeals process is set to continue in December.
