Saudi Arabia has inaugurated the first phase of the Riyadh Metro project, marking a significant milestone in the city’s transportation system. As part of the Saudi Vision 2030 initiative, the metro aims to improve daily commutes over 176 kilometers with six lines and 85 stations. The initial phase will launch three lines, with further expansions scheduled through 2025. The metro is expected to ease traffic and reduce carbon emissions while boosting economic activities for residents and visitors.
