Robbie Keane Appointed Head Coach of Ferencvaros
Robbie Keane, the Republic of Ireland’s all-time leading goalscorer, has been appointed head coach of Hungarian football club Ferencvaros. This follows his previous managerial stint at Maccabi Tel Aviv, where he had success in domestic competitions but faced criticism for continuing his role amid political turmoil. Joining him in his new role are assistant coach Rory Delap and analyst Phill Hudson. Ferencvaros currently sits in second place in the league and is preparing to compete in the Europa League.
