RTÉ employees will receive a non-taxable voucher of up to €1,000 due to ongoing pay negotiations with the Trade Union Group (TUG). Following a conciliation conference, both parties agreed to continue discussions into 2025. The voucher is part of an interim arrangement that will remain in effect until April 30, 2025, when a new collective pay agreement is expected to commence. This decision follows a previous pay agreement that began in November 2022, which included a 6% pay increase and additional non-taxable vouchers.
