Russia Refuses to Confirm North Korean Military Involvement Amid Ukraine Conflict
Russia has neither confirmed nor denied reports of North Korean soldiers being deployed in the conflict against Ukraine. Kremlin spokesperson Dmitri Peskov refrained from commenting further, referencing U.S. claims of lacking definitive proof. President Vladimir Putin noted the implications of satellite imagery suggesting North Korean presence, stating, ‘if there are photos, then they show something.’ He also highlighted a strategic agreement made with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, underscoring mutual support in the event of external aggression, stating that the execution of this agreement is ‘our business.’
