Svetlana Dali, a 57-year-old Russian woman residing in the U.S., was arrested in New York after clandestinely boarding a Delta Air Lines flight to Paris on November 26-27. Despite evading airport security at JFK, she was apprehended upon landing in Paris. Dali faces charges of being an unauthorized passenger, which could result in up to five years in prison and loss of her American residency. She has been released on conditional terms pending trial, which include GPS monitoring and psychological care.
