The book, which became the top seller among the finalists, captivated readers with its portrayal of Earth’s beauty from space. Harvey described her characters as feeling ‘trapped in a tin can’ during the lockdown. The prestigious prize, celebrating excellence in English-language fiction, announced its winner for the 55th time. Harvey plans to use the €60,000 award to buy a new bicycle.
