A new report by NGO Transport & Environment (T&E) ranks the Swiss Federal Railways (SBB) as the second-best railway in Europe, with Trenitalia taking the top spot. The study evaluated 27 companies based on eight criteria, including price and reliability. SBB received a score of 7.4 out of 10, performing well in reservations and travel experience, but faced criticism over its refund policy and night train offerings. Eurostar was rated the worst due to high prices and low reliability.
