The search for a missing woman in Galway Bay will resume at first light, following her disappearance two days ago. Focused near Silverstrand, local volunteers and RNLI boats have already scoured the area, inspired by community involvement following the recovery of singer-songwriter Johnny Duhan’s body from the same location. Despite poor visibility hampering aerial surveys, the Irish Coast Guard Rescue 117 Helicopter from Waterford contributed to the efforts by executing over-water assessments. The community remains hopeful as the search continues.
