Gardaí have ended a search in north County Dublin related to the 2015 disappearance and suspected murder of William Maughan and Anastasija Varslavane. Although the search yielded no evidential findings, authorities continue to investigate the case, which was elevated to a murder investigation in 2016. Family members had reported the couple missing after they didn’t show up for a planned visit. Seven arrests have been made since but no charges filed. Gardaí encourage the public to provide any information related to the case.
