Rescue operations resume this morning off the Galway coast for a woman missing since last Tuesday, after she and another individual were swept into the sea by dense fog at Silverstrand beach. The body of songwriter Johnny Duhan was recovered shortly after. The search, led by gardaí and supported by the Coast Guard Service and local volunteers, has so far yielded no trace of the woman, in her 30s, from the south Conamara area. Efforts are focused on coastline searches around the bay, engaging both local and national rescue teams.
