Seismic Activity Recorded in Rhodes with Minimal Impact
Two minor earthquakes were detected in Rhodes overnight, primarily affecting the eastern side of the island. The first quake, measuring 4.0 on the Richter scale, occurred at 3:30 AM, with an epicenter 10 km north-northwest of Archangelos. A subsequent quake of 2.5 magnitude hit a few minutes later, located 5 km east-northeast of Lindos. Fortunately, neither quake caused significant disturbances among residents.
