Serious Accident on Crete’s BOAK Leaves 36-Year-Old Injured
A 36-year-old man sustained severe orthopedic injuries after being struck by a vehicle on the BOAK highway near Stavromenos in Rethymno, Crete, on Monday afternoon. The incident occurred under unclear circumstances shortly after he disembarked from a bus in front of a restaurant. The car was traveling toward Chania at the time of the accident. Fortunately, reports indicate that despite his serious injuries, the man’s life is not in danger.
