A 13-year-old boy from Rhodes was airlifted to Athens after suffering a severe head injury while participating in the dangerous ‘Superman challenge’ on TikTok. Following the injury, he experienced seizures and required intubation. Medical professionals are warning about the life-threatening risks associated with such online challenges, which have led to numerous injuries among youths across Israel and North Macedonia. In Romania, over 20 children have also been hospitalized due to severe fractures from the challenge, highlighting the growing concern over online trends that jeopardize safety.
