A serious traffic accident occurred in Messini today when a woman was struck by a car while attempting to cross Pavlou Ptochou street near the town hall. The injured woman was quickly transported to Kalamata General Hospital for treatment. An investigation into the causes of the accident is being conducted by the traffic police department of Messinia.
