Emergency services, including Donegal County Council, have been on-site to pump out the water. Independent Councillor Niamh Kennedy noted the impact on local businesses, including hairdressers and an estate agents office, alongside significant damage to residential areas and vehicles. Independent politician Thomas Pringle also reported flooding in his office and expressed his commitment to assisting those affected.
