Severe Snowstorm Disrupts Life in Bosnia and Herzegovina
A severe snowstorm has cut off several areas in Bosnia and Herzegovina from the outside world, leading to a state of emergency in the west of the country. Approximately 170,000 households are without electricity due to blocked roads and extreme weather conditions. The city of Drvar, with a population of 17,000, is particularly affected, with snowdrifts reaching up to two meters. The situation continues to worsen, as teams work tirelessly to restore power and clear roads, while similar conditions in Serbia are causing significant traffic disruptions.
