Severe Weather Closes Rail Traffic in Greece

Panaigios Terzarakis, CEO of OSE, reported on the blockage of the Tempi tunnel due to debris caused by severe weather conditions, specifically the Bora storm. Water and materials from Mount Olympus have obstructed the south end of the tunnel, halting train services between Larissa and Katerini. Efforts are underway to clear the blockage, with work continuing throughout the night to restore services as soon as possible.
