Severe Weather Warning Issued in Greece Ahead of Storm ‘ALEXANDROS’
Greece’s Minister of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection, Vassilis Kikilias, has convened a multi-ministerial meeting in response to the impending storm ‘ALEXANDROS’. Forecasts predict heavy rains and localized thunderstorms from Friday to Saturday evening, particularly affecting Thessaly, the Northern Sporades, Evia, and Fthiotida, which are at high risk of flooding. Residents in these areas have been urged to remain vigilant and follow authorities’ instructions. Additional weather disturbances are expected in Eastern and Southern Aegean regions and parts of Attica, emphasizing the need for precaution.
