Six individuals have been released following their lengthy interrogation regarding the brutal assault of a 19-year-old student at the Merchant Marine Academy in Chania. The assailants attacked the victim with batons, inflicting serious facial injuries before fleeing the scene. The incident, which occurred on Wednesday night, quickly led to 11 arrests, including the alleged perpetrators and their parents. The arrested face charges including causing serious bodily harm and parental neglect, with their court hearing scheduled for April 7.
