Six Egyptian nationals have been arrested in Greece for the alleged gang rape and prolonged torture of a 16-year-old compatriot at the Malakasa facility. All detainees deny the charges, claiming they are not depicted in the disturbing videos of the assault and have pointed to two other individuals as the actual perpetrators. The Athens Prosecutor’s Office has initiated a preliminary investigation into the incident following a request from the Supreme Court Prosecutor.
