Six Individuals Charged with Membership in Banned Kurdish Group in London

Six people have been charged in London with belonging to the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), a Kurdish nationalist organization banned as a terrorist group in Turkey, the US, and UK. Following their arrests last November, protests erupted in support of the Kurdish community, with clashes reported outside the Kurdish Community Centre in Haringey. The charges against the accused will be presented to Westminster Magistrates’ Court. Local authorities have reassured the community of their commitment to address safety concerns amidst the ongoing investigation.
