Skiathos Maritime Museum Awarded European Cultural Tourism Network Prize for 2024
The Skiathos Maritime and Cultural Heritage Museum has been awarded the European Cultural Tourism Network (ECTN) prize for 2024 in the category of maritime heritage. The award ceremony will take place on January 11, 2025. The recognition stems from the local community’s contribution to the museum’s establishment and the successful organization of the 13th Greek Conference on Maritime Museums, hosted in Skiathos in May 2024, emphasizing the significance of maritime museums in Greece’s history.
