A small Van’s RV-10 aircraft crashed around 2:30 PM local time in Fullerton, California, while approaching the landing strip of the local airport. The plane pierced the roof of a furniture upholstery factory where approximately 200 employees were present. The pilot had indicated a return for an emergency landing shortly after takeoff.
