SNCF Announces 1.5% Train Fare Increase for 2025

Starting Wednesday, SNCF will raise train ticket prices by an average of 1.5% for 2025, a move characterized as ‘limited to inflation’ to safeguard consumer purchasing power. A small increase of approximately 70 cents per ticket will impact high-demand fares, with hikes ranging from 1 to 7 euros on long-distance routes. However, prices for leisure subscriptions and Advantage cards will remain unchanged. The state has also approved a 1.9% fare increase for Intercités trains.
