Today, snowy conditions are expected in semi-mountainous regions of central and northern Greece, with current snowfall reported in Grevena and Lailias in Serres. Temperatures in ski resorts, including Kaimaktsalan in Pieria and Vasilitsa in Grevena, have dropped below freezing. The police advise the use of snow chains for vehicles heading to the ski centers in Imathia, particularly on specific provincial roads and sections of the old national road from Thessaloniki to Veria and Kozani.
