South Korea to Conduct Special Inspections on Boeing 737-800 Following Crash

South Korean authorities announced plans for special inspections of all Boeing 737-800 aircraft in the country, following a tragic crash that resulted in the deaths of 179 people during an emergency landing in Muan. Currently, there are 101 Boeing 737-800 aircraft operating in South Korea. The Transport Ministry’s aviation official, Joo Jong-gwan, stated that options are being explored to ensure their safety.
