Special Needs School Coach Sentenced for Bullying and Assaulting Students

Elliot Millar, a 21-year-old sports coach at Life Wirral school, was sentenced to 12 weeks in jail for abusing students after a BBC Panorama investigation uncovered his actions. Millar was recorded putting pupils in headlocks, using derogatory language, and drawing inappropriate images on a student’s face. The court heard the investigation revealed a culture of bullying at the school, which has since closed. Millar’s defense cited his ADHD but acknowledged the inappropriateness of his actions.
