Police have recovered a stolen refrigerated van that contained 2,500 pies, valued at £25,000, which were supposed to be delivered to the York Christmas Market. The van, belonging to Michelin-starred chef Tommy Banks, was reported stolen from a business park in Melmerby. It was later found abandoned in Hemlington, Middlesbrough, with false number plates.
