Storm Caetano Leaves 10,000 Without Power in France
Following Storm Caetano, approximately 10,000 customers remain without electricity in France, primarily in Normandy and Pays de la Loire. Enedis reported that at the height of the storm, over 270,000 households were affected due to strong winds and heavy snowfall causing trees to fall on power lines. Although over 95% of previously impacted homes have regained power, teams remain on-site working to restore service by the evening. Enedis had deployed 2,200 technicians and 400 contractors to tackle the outages, utilizing helicopters and drones for assessments.
