Students Celebrate International Day of Persons with Disabilities in Heraklion, Greece
At the General High School of Agia Varvara in Heraklion, students organized activities for the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, coordinated by school officials. Under the initiative ‘Unique, Not Alone,’ they created posters, sketches, and wrote songs emphasizing diversity and empathy. The students aimed to communicate messages of love and understanding, even translating their poems into Braille with the help of the Union of the Blind in Crete. Emotional verses highlighted the importance of solidarity and acceptance of differences.
