The three-day emergency management exercise ‘KIVOTOS 24’ concluded successfully in Thessaly, involving various regional authorities and municipalities. The exercise simulated incidents such as power outages, road network issues, and biological overflow management. Participants included the Governor of Thessaly and local mayors, emphasizing the importance of collaboration and preparedness for flood events. An evaluation will follow to identify improvement areas. The governor expressed satisfaction with the coordination displayed and announced plans for future exercises focusing on fire and earthquake responses in 2025.
