Successful Conclusion of Yale University’s 6th International Symposium on Public Health and Sustainability
The 6th International Symposium titled ‘Beyond the Olive Grove’ held by Yale University succeeded in bringing together over 50 distinguished scientists and industry representatives from 15 olive-producing countries in Heraklion, Crete. The event, which took place from December 2 to December 4, 2024, emphasized the significance of olive oil in public health and local economy through presentations by key speakers including Harris Pastides and Antonia Trichopoulou. It showcased the role of olive oil in sustainability and wellness, concluding with plans for the 7th symposium in 2025.
