On December 4, 2024, a First Aid seminar hosted by the Platanias Community Center in collaboration with OCEAN LIFEGUARDS concluded successfully. The training provided skills on handling choking incidents, using defibrillators, and performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Mayor of Platanias, Giannis Malandraki, highlighted the importance of such seminars, especially as defibrillators are now available in the municipality for easy public access.
