The delegation from Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, led by Deputy Regional Governor for Tourism Panagiotis Archontis, returned with positive outcomes from the ITTF 2024 tourism fair in Warsaw, Poland. The region showcased its offerings at the Greek National Tourism Organization booth and engaged in discussions with local tourism agents. Notably, Archontis met with Greek Ambassador to Poland Niki Kampa to promote the region’s tourism. A key highlight was the confirmation of an additional weekly flight from Warsaw to Kavala airport, set to commence in summer 2025, increasing connectivity between Poland and Greece.
